You’ve decided to use Azure to run the workloads that run your business. But when you researched the costs of Azure services you may not have also researched the cost of the people you’ll need to get your applications running and keep them running well. Before you go back and add to your already bulging budget, here’s how to pay a fraction of that cost to get all the value of that expertise.
We’ve all heard the classic Uncle Ben Parker quote to his nephew, Spiderman.
“With great power, comes great responsibility!”
Who knew it would apply to you when you decided to run your most mission-critical applications of the Azure Cloud Service?
Why You Chose Azure
Many cloud services, especially the many lower-tier ones, offer you little more than remote server and storage.
You chose Azure because it also offers you hundreds of valuable services, tremendous flexibility in configuration and pricing, and many other features you can take advantage of if you know how.
Especially when you first make that decision, it is unlikely you have anyone on staff with a deep knowledge of Azure. Of course, you can certainly recruit and hire someone who has worked with Azure elsewhere but be prepared for some sticker-shock. Engineers with Azure expertise are very well paid people and will be difficult to lure away from their current employment without busting your budget.
Fractional Expertise
Many IT companies offer fractional skills programs. You may not be able to budget for a Chief Technology Officer, but you can have access to one on a part-time basis by engaging in a Fractional CTO service. The same is true for technology experts at many levels and skills.
Some enterprising IT firms have hired consultants who leverage their own fractional expertise to win engagements with new clients. As part of the sales process, they provide a preliminary level of consulting to demonstrate to their prospect the value they bring. Once the prospect agrees they are the right provider and converts into a client, only then does the billing begin.
Fractional Expertise Included
Then there are service providers like Idenxt. Our mission is to provide superior application protection for the mission-critical workloads you bring to Azure.
Along the way, Idenxt customers enjoy the benefits of expertise from our seasoned technology team to help them to provision, configure, deploy, protect, and manage those workloads. This expertise is not a separate line item on the invoice, nor is it directly charged for.
Idenxt Expertise is part of the package, bundled in with every service we sell. Without hiring anyone or encumbering more payroll Idenxt customers enjoy the fractional expertise of our team to help them successfully transition and safely operate on the world’s foremost cloud services platform.
Whose Responsibility is It?
Ben Parker was right. Azure brings you great cloud computing power. And along with that power comes great responsibility.
But nothing says that responsibility must be borne by you alone. When you add the fractional expertise of Idenxt staff and automation, you’re covered.
