Microsoft routinely issues patches and updates for all products. Most can be implemented immediately upon receipt, but some may be problematic based on the specifics of each customer’s implementation.
Idenxt coordinates with the Azure Update Management Center to obtain and deploy each patch and every update, evaluating each to determine if they require changes to your Azure environment, or should not be implemented based on your customer’s specific configuration.
Idenxt Patch Management includes:
- Patch Management according to Microsoft’s guidelines and utilizing Microsoft’s Azure Update management center
- Agreed maintenance windows and target servers/groups based on subscriptions, resource groups, and tags
- Logging to troubleshoot update failures
- Pre/post scripts that run before and after the maintenance window to start turned-off servers, patch them, and then turn them off again
- Including/excluding of specific patches based on roles
